Information from a 1996-2000 research of DNA proved that Dr. Sam Sheppard was innocent.
The evidence from a seimen sample was linked to a patient of Dr. Sheppard who was undergoing
psycological treatment and was looking for drugs from the doctors office and residence. The information
being suppressed and at the civil trial brought on by his son for the estate it was ordered that a wrongful
imprisonment award could only be given to the defendant that was imprisoned even though his had spent
a great deal of money to get the evidence needed to exonorate his father.

Does this have anything to do with the O.J. Simpson trial?
Or did you post this as an off subject topic?

As an aside I asked my husband about this and he was blown away. He
followes stuff like this...I don't.
